Welcome Back

In line with the latest Government announcement, we are delighted to announce that from Monday 12th April, non-essential stores will re-open at Victoria Place Shopping Centre.

Store opening times may vary so please check with individual stores to avoid disappointment.

 

We understand you may have some reservations coming back into the shopping centre, so we want to ensure you the safety of our customers, employees and retailers is our top priority.

 

Safety measures and procedures:

– An enhanced cleaning regime

– Numbers into the shopping centre being monitored

– Face coverings must be worn

– Hand sanitiser available

– Physical distancing measures in place

Car Parking

If you’re visiting Victoria Place or Victoria Railway Station by car, the car park can be found on Eccleston Bridge. Access is via Bridge Place, Belgrave Rd or Bulleid Way. Follow the postcode SW1W 9SJ on your sat nav.

The Victoria Railway Station car park is managed by APCOA who can be contacted on 0845 0774 224.

VPSC does not manage the Raft Car Park it is managed by Network Rail.
Our car park has received the Park Mark Safer Parking award.

Taxis

There are a number of taxi ranks located nearby including Victoria Railway Station Car Park Deck Level, Hudson’s Place, Bridge Place and Vauxhall Bridge Road.

Cycle Parking

There are cycle racks on platforms 7-8, platforms 17-18 and by the Car Park taxi rank. Both are monitored by CCTV.

We offer FREE Public WI-FI throughout Victoria Place.*

*Exclusions may apply.

Public Toilets

The toilets at Victoria Place include baby changing and disabled facilities and can be found on our Food Terrace on the upper level. Members of the public with RADAR keys and “Can’t Wait Cards” can also use the disabled facilities if required. Turn right at the top of the escalator / out of the lift and you’ll find them through the double doors between Subway and McDonald’s. The public toilet facilities are free to customers, these toilets are monitored on a regular basis and there is a member of the centre housekeeping team in attendance throughout the day. It is our objective to keep these facilities clean and well maintained. On occasions this is not always possible due to acts of vandalism and misuse. Victoria Place welcome any constructive comments from customers on standards within Victoria Place public toilets. You can send your comments to us via the submissions form on the ‘Contact Us’ page.

Cash Machines

ATMs can be located in Victoria Place by Pret A Manger on the Mall Level of the Shopping Centre.

Raphaels Bank operate over 330 ATMs in the UK and can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by phone on 0800 561 0058.

Lifts and escalators

Access to and from Victoria Railway Station can be gained via a lift located at the Gatwick Express entrance between platforms 14 and 15, which will take you to the car park and the taxi rank entrance of Victoria Place. We’re sorry that there is not a more direct access between Victoria Railway Station and Victoria Place due to the physical constraints of the building. Please contact us if you require more information.

Platform lift

Access to the main mall level of Victoria Place can be gained via a platform lift, located at the Eccleston Bridge road entrance. Once inside there is a lift to the Food Terrace level, located towards the centre of the mall.

Information screens

At Victoria Place, you’ll find five rail customer information screens located conveniently throughout the centre – providing real-time rail departure and arrival times from Victoria Railway Station. So you can keep tabs on the trains while you enjoy a spot of shopping, a relaxing drink or bite to eat.

Recycling

We pride ourselves on our recycling program – recyclable waste items such as cardboard, glass and food are sorted into separate waste streams for appropriate disposal. Our M&E contractor also handles florescent tubes, batteries and WEEE to ensure safe disposal. Our Soft Service contractor also implements a strict environment policy where chemicals and cleaning systems used within Victoria Place are not harmful to the environment. All general waste at Victoria Place goes to the ‘Waste to Energy’ facility.

Hidden Disabilities

At Victoria Place, we recognise that not all disabilities are as obvious as others, which is why we’re pleased to announce that The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is recognised here.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower was first launched in 2016 at Gatwick Airport and has since been adopted nationwide and further afield, by a number of travel hubs, retail outlets, leisure facilities and businesses and organisations of all sizes.

The simple sunflower lanyard allows the easy identification of individuals who may require a little more help, time or assistance during their visit.

ENVIRONMENTAL INTRODUCTION

Victoria Place Shopping Centre (“VPSC”) being located in the Centre of London takes its environmental obligations seriously and as a responsible business we consider all the areas which we can help influence the decision making process and source positive environmental solutions.
We consider it extremely important to manage environmental impacts and minimize our environmental footprint through effective management, review existing operational practices, reduction in carbon emissions, provide essential environmental information and communication, potentially increase recycling and reduce traffic movements. With the aim of avoiding adverse impacts on the local community and promoting the efficient use of resources

GREEN APPLE AWARD WINNERS

“VPSC” were GOLD winners of a Green Apple Environment Award in November 2017 for Environmental best practice. It will be important for us to review all best practice in which to achieve further industry environmental awards.

We believe working with the Victoria Business Improvement District and the Local Authority to raise environmental and friendly objectives. “VPSC” has committed to giving responsible consideration to communications, the built environment, transportation and supply chain in which to improve local air quality.

SERVICE AND RESOURCING PARTNERS

“VPSC” will ensure service and resource partners are advised of our minimum business duties and responsibilities towards environmental legislation by providing guidance, development, best practice and tools to assist the support of this.
The supply chain servicing “VPSC” is an important factor, through any procurement process a service partner must have established, robust principles which reflect our environmental position and standards.

COMMUNICATION

The monthly newsletter forms an essential part of our communication process with tenants. “VPSC” will continue to provide updated environmental performance information on a regular basis.

ENVIRONMENTAL SPILLAGE PROCEDURE

“VPSC” is committed to preventing pollution and protecting the natural built environment surrounding the Centre. We have adopted a strict and effective pollution spillage procedure.

TRAVEL SURVEY AND PLAN

On an annual basis “VPSC is committed to undertaking a full travel survey of all retailers, service partners and in-house team in which to benchmark transport usage to and from the Centre as a place of work. Information on alternative modes of transport and walking and cycling routes form part of this process.

MODIFICATIONS TO THIS OR OTHER POLICIES

We are committed to developing our Environmental Statement. Responsibility for the overall governance and review of this statement lies with the shopping Centre management team. Therefore any changes made to this policy will take into account the impact on all the Centre’s customers and stakeholders.
